Thanks for joining us for our International Women’s Day celebration on March 8, 2018, our Brit way to have a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
We had an array of special guests from the worlds of business, art and music, culinary delights, wine, beer & champagne from around the globe, a Spanish Guitar performance by Dunstan Morey, live painting with gallery artist Briar Emond, and raffle featuring art, a private sailing afternoon for 4, scotch, whisky and champagne!, a cool set of London cab cuff links donated by our dearest Kelly Casey (Ollie Noble Ltd), an Apple watch donated by Peter Loughlin from G4S, and a Corporate Champagne or Cognac Workshop for 10 (with a value $800) donated by our “Dame Chevalier Des The Ordre Des Coteaux De Champagne” Liz Palmer!

Woman of the Day campaign
Our Woman of the Day campaign featured influential and powerful women that we know through the BCCTC. This campaign profiled a variety of women, from entrepreneurs to those established on the corporate ladder, demonstrating the huge amount that has been achieved by women in Canada so far. Their interviews also provide an insight into the issues they have faced and their opinions on issues that women still face in business in 21st Century Canada.
