The journey: Notes of Hope

November 2, 2018 @ 8:00 pm – November 3, 2018 @ 10:00 pm

Parsai Immigration Services proudly presenting The Journey: Notes of Hope an operatic production by ICOT (Iranian-Canadian Composers of Toronto) that brings us the narratives of immigrant artists sharing their stories of displacement, refugee crisis and diaspora. This opera’s effort is to expand the message of the crisis of refugees and their life after relocation.

We would like to show our gratitude for the incredible hard work and effort of women artists and leaders along with Syrian refugee musicians for creating this one of a kind opera piece.

“We are greatly honoured for producing and collaborating with a group of diverse and talented musicians that brings to light the gravity of the current challenges of human migration. Giving my background to psychology and immigration I consciously strive to bring attention to human rights and shed light to artist-activists who are living in troubled times, and within various communities”. Quote by Al Parsai the CEO of Parsai Immigration services.

Please join us for these special events taking place on November 2nd and 3rd, 2018 at 8:00 PM at Agricola Lutheran Church at (25 York Mills Rd, Toronto).
