CSCA Canadian SmallSat Symposium 2018

The 2nd CSCA Canadian SmallSat Symposium 2018 (CCSS18) will bring together national and international players. The expanded and enhanced Symposium will be held in Toronto at the Westin Prince Hotel, February 13, 14 & 15, 2018.

During the CSS18, a special Commercial Space 101 workshop will also be held on February 13, inviting new stakeholders to the learn how to leverage space in other sectors. 


The central theme of this 2nd Symposium is, SMALL SATELLITES, RESPONSIBLE REVOLUTION, and reflects a pressing need for sustainability in space. The CSCA is staging CCSS18 to ensure strategic discussion and information sharing concerning a breadth of interconnected issues influencing a sustainable future for Canada’s small satellite space initiatives. 


The CSCA’s “Commercial Space 101” workshop is for professionals of all sectors who are interested in discovering how the space sector will be the catalyst to pioneer revolutionary growth into other industries. The workshop will offer an overview of the space domain, in clear language; the economic opportunities, in Canada and abroad; the link between space and ALL sectors; case studies and the underlying knowledge necessary to consider the space sector as a profitable and commercially advantageous opportunity.



A convergence of leading and emerging corporates, policy makers and regulators, entrepreneurs, investors, and academia the CSCA Canadian SmallSat Symposium 2018 will be another milestone event for Canadian space.

About the CSCA

The Canadian Space Commerce Association (CSCA) is the national association representing the space industry in Canada.
