Digital ID, digital signatures etc.

Please plan to attend an important business seminar featuring Estonia’s Prime Minister Mr.
Jüri Ratas, The Deputy Secretary General of Ministry of Economic Affairs and
Communications Mr. Siim Sikkut, and leading Estonian companies. The main theme of the
seminar is ‘e-Estonia’, and the session will highlight how the country has come to be widely
considered as the most digitally advanced society in the world.

Explore strategic partnerships with some of the twenty Estonian companies who are leaders in the
areas of ICT and Electronics (some of which played critical roles in the digitization of the country),
Business Services, Construction, Manufacturing, Food Products, Tourism and Beauty.
Following the seminar and lunch there will be opportunities for business-to- business meetings. Profiles of the Estonian companies will be sent to whomever registers their interest in attending.

BABC Transatlantic Conference

We are thrilled to announce that 2018 BABC Transatlantic Conference will be held in Birmingham/UK on 6th – 8th June 2018, and will be organised by our colleagues from BABC Midlands.

After last year’s milestone conference in Chicago, the Conference returns to Birmingham, a place of business tradition, innovation and great people.  Titled “The Future of Transatlantic Trade”, the three-day event promises an interesting debate as well as a platform for making connections in our growing transatlantic community.

Canadian Mission to Hong Kong for the 3rd Belt and Road Summit

June 27 – 29, 2018

The British Canadian Chamber of Trade And Commerce (BCCTC), in partnership with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA), Invest Hong Kong (IHK), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and other like-minded Canadian multipliers, would like to invite Canadian companies to leverage the subject mission to tap the growing Belt and Road Initiative opportunities.

The Belt and Road Initiative is a visionary blueprint that seeks to enhance global economic development, and reinvigorate the seamless flow of capital, goods and services by promoting international connectivity and forging new ties among communities. It offers unprecedented business opportunities in such sectors as infrastructure, transportation, logistics, financing and investment in the beginning. It will also unfold a myriad of opportunities for companies to promote products and services across international boundaries. These opportunities are also for Canadian companies to tap.
