The BCCTC exists to promote the transatlantic business interests of our members
Welcome to the British Canada Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
Founded in 1951, the British Canadian Chamber of Trade & Commerce is governed by an elected Board and its mission is the promotion of the transatlantic business interests of its members. The Chamber is a private sector non-profit organization that receives no funding from either the Canadian nor British Governments, however the BCCTC maintains a close relationship and receives support from the British High Commission, and its offices across Canada, and DFAIT.
The BCCTC, through a Memorandum of Understanding, maintains close ties with the Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and other Chambers based in Britain. This agreement encourages meetings of key leaders in both the UK and Canada. In addition the BCCTC is a member of the British American Business Council (BABC - babc.org) that is made up of an association of 33 British American Chambers across the USA and Mexico; and has a seat on the Board of the European Union Chamber Commerce of Canada, which is made up of the 25 countries with active associations here.
The aim of the BCCTC is to provide a business networking forum for companies and individuals engaged in business between Canada, the UK, and Europe. This consists of Breakfast Seminars, Networking evenings, Golf Tournament, Christmas Luncheon, and, soon to be, a conference on "Doing Business with Britain".
